Designing for "Τηι καλλιστηι"(the most beautiful) from the DeSales Emerging Choreographers Concert 2024 was a labor of love and a reflection of my time studying abroad in Athens, Greece. The flowing yet combative nine and a half minute dance, created by Faith Pelli, was inspired by the Trojan War and Greek Mythology. I drew on my experiences walking through art and cultural museums in Athens to create stunning unique pictures throughout the piece. Light held the dancers as they stood as statues or danced as warriors. I matched the dynamic nature of the piece with precise programming synced to the movements and positions of dancers throughout the piece.
